Dear RemoteMeeting Users,
Thank you for using RemoteMeeting services.
To provide a more secure and stable service experience, we will be performing a scheduled update to RemoteMeeting (v3.3.0) as follows.
Update Overview
- Date/Time: October 29, 2026 (Thu) 20:00 – October 30, 2026 (Fri) 02:00 (KST, UTC+09:00)
- Target: All RemoteMeeting services (Web, Mobile, RemoteMeeting BOX)
- Note: The update will be performed without service interruption.
Key Updates
1. Enhanced Login Security (Web & Mobile)
We are enhancing login authentication and account protection to provide a more secure service experience.
- Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): A 6-digit verification code sent to the registered email address will be introduced as an additional login step.
- Login Attempt Limit: Login will be temporarily restricted for 10 minutes after 5 failed attempts within 10 minutes.
- Verification Email Resend Limit: After 3 verification emails have been sent, additional requests will be restricted for 3 minutes.
Note: Following a grace period of approximately one month, two-factor authentication will become mandatory for applicable accounts starting November 30, 2026.
Please check your registered email address and ensure that you can receive verification emails to avoid login difficulties.
2. Participant View UI/UX Improvements (Web)
- Drag & Drop Support: Arrange participant video tiles in your preferred positions and order.
- Improved Active Speaker Focus: The active speaker's video appears at the top of the participant view and can also be seen during presentations.
3. Presentation View UI/UX Improvements (Web)
- Expanded Pop-out View: Both presenters and participants can open participant videos in a separate window during screen sharing or document sharing.
- Pin Participants During Presentations: Pin selected participant videos on screen, even during presentations.
- Automatic Picture-in-Picture (PiP): The meeting view will automatically appear in a small PiP window when switching to another browser tab.
4. Sharing and Meeting View Improvements
-
Removed "Waiting" Status for Document Sharing: Uploaded documents will immediately appear in the shared document list for all participants, allowing anyone to start presenting them right away.
Note: For screen sharing, the existing "Waiting" status will remain in effect when another participant is presenting.
- Improved Screen Sharing: Screen sharing quality will be improved, with a new option to share computer audio.
- Improved Meeting View: A collapsible toolbar and improved screen layout will make the meeting view more spacious and easier to use.
5. Mobile and RemoteMeeting BOX Improvements
- Improved Mobile Presentation View: During presentations, the PiP window will display the active speaker's video instead of the presenter's video.
- Expanded Participant View on RemoteMeeting BOX: Display up to 25 participant videos on a single screen.
In addition, we will address other issues and improve overall service stability.
We will continue working to provide a more stable and reliable RemoteMeeting experience.
Thank you.
